An officer grabs an acoustic guitar to calm the suspect down
Hilarious footage shows a rescue worker and the man – wearing just a pair of blue shorts – belting out a popular Thai song.
Kim Tossporn, 25, who recorded the clip, said: ”It was the funniest thing I’ve seen the police do. The police were bored of him, so a rescue worker played the guitar and they sang along.
”The man in handcuffs was drunk and shouting a lot. They had a guitar handy and sang a song to distract him. He calmed down and they solved the problem.”
The unusual method of subduing suspects appears to work – after almost seven minutes of singing the man politely says ”thank you” and lays down to rest.
