A teenage girl has been arrested after selling illegal tiger skins – on Facebook.
Tamonwan Prombut, 18, got hold of the banned furs and posted them on her page with joking messages and the asking price.
But a users tipped off police who raided her home in Phrae province, Thailand, and found four tiger pelts, two tiger teeth and a set of deer antlers.
Cops found the tiger skins between 134 and 160 centimeters long hanging on a wall in her room.
Police said the girl was not at home when they arrived but her parents admitted the goods belonged to their daughter.
She confessed to the illegal possession of wildlife carcasses and illegal sale of them and now faces up yo four years in prison and a a fine of 40,000THB – the equivalent to around £800.
