Thai police raid three table gogo bars as they continue their crackdown on the illegal sex trade in Pattaya.
Officers swooped on the clubs and combed the venues for signs of drugs and trafficking.
The military run government has targeted the city after it was dubbed ‘’sex capital of the world’’ and they feared it was tarnishing the country’s reputation.
Footage from this week’s raid shows dozens of dancers in skimpy clothes and numbers pinned to their skirts or tops being checked by officers.
Sven girls eventually received warnings because they were failing to carry their ID cards.
Police chief Naris Niwapantawong said the raids of Tuesday evening at 9.30pm were a ”success’’.
He said: ‘’These visits show of determination to prevent the trafficking of human beings and drugs.
”The staff checked the ID card employees in every shop. Based on the inspection of more than 10 locations, we found seven employees did not carry ID cards.
‘’This was a success and we’re winning the mission keep the area safe.”
Major General Chatchai Sripoeng and Senior Permanent Secretary Prapan Prathum were among the officials who joined the raids.
They said that none of the workers who were randomly tested showed signs on drugs.
They finished by putting posters across the entrance to each venue warning against human trafficking.
