Police are investigating after pieces of a woman’s body were found in a canal near Sukhumvit Road on Wednesday afternoon.
Passers-by saw an arm floating in the water in a canal near a bread factory on Pridi Banomyong 14 Alley and called police at 3.30pm.
Rescuers then fished out another arm, a leg and the woman’s head from further along the waterway. There are small tattoos on the woman’s body, including one in Thai writing.
She looks to have been in her 20s or 30s. Police are investigating but don’t expect many answers soon. There’s also nothing been reported in the Thai domestic media.
Don’t look at the pictures if you’re squeamish.
