

This moped rider had a miracle escape after plunging 20ft into an uncovered SEWER.
Uttavit Pongchareon, 20, had been riding his white Yamaha in the early hours of Saturday morning when he crashed into a traffic light.
He skidded out of control into the path of an open drain – falling into the filthy pool of water followed by his 125cc motorbike.
But incredibly, Uttavit landed on a concrete slab – narrowly avoided drowning in the 2ft deep water.
Paramedics alerted to the accident by motorists used a crane to winch him out of the pool and he was transferred to hospital in Bangkok, Thailand.
Volunteer rescue worker Paiboon Sribuasod said: ‘’The injured young man suffered a large fall. People have to be careful when they’re riding near these.’’
An ambulance transferred Uttavit to hospital where he is in a coma. Police investigating the accident and will perform blood tests to see if the rider had been drinking.
