This is the horrific moment a passenger is killed after stepping off a moving train and getting dragged under the wheels.
The 62-year-old man in flip flops walks out from the doorways and tries to step onto the platform in Hat Yai, southern Thailand.
But after both feet set foot onto the ground, he appears to get his arm stuck in part of the moving train.
He’s dragged backwards and stumbles before being crushed under the powerful metal wheels of the locomotive.
Horrified passengers lean out of the window and a station guard runs to the spot where the man fell.
But the train carries on driving for another minute, repeatedly striking the man’s body before it moves clear.
Volunteer rescue worker Banyensakul said: ”The man was 62-years-old and he was trying to get off the train.
”We don’t know why he didn’t wait for the train to stop. But sometimes people are in a hurry in Thailand and they take basic health and safety forgranted.
”He was killed instantly after falling under the wheels.”
Jakchai said that an ambulance arrived several minutes later but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
