A drunk priest was arrested after he shot at a teenage who parked a motorcycle outside his church.
Reverend Federico Lim Jr., 45, stormed out and hurled four mopeds to the ground which were blocking parking spaces for his guests.
The group of teenagers began arguing with the priest outside the Our Lady of Snows church in Capiz, Philippines, on July 28 at 11.30pm
Rev Federico went back inside before returning with a handgun and letting off several rounds at the terrified youngsters who fled into the night.
Police arrived and arrested Rev Federico who was held in custody over the firearms offence.
The Philippine National Police (PNP) said that the priest did not have a license for the gun.
PNP Region 6 acting director Chief Superintendent John Bulalacao said: ”Federico Lim Jr was charged with violating Republic Act 10591 or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.
”We encourage the community to surrender their loose fire arms to prevent occurrence of crime perpetrated with use of firearms and in preparation for the coming elections on 2019.”
